Description
This octahedral shell is the seventh layer of a space-filling lattice path that starts at the origin. It uses the underlying Eulerian circuit of the octahedron’s edges to hit all the lattice points near each edge. The six outer vertices are actually hit twice by the path, which shows the whole color spectrum as it winds around the shape. How many segments are on the path?
